by looking at this image, I can totally relate to it, I don't know how you feel... but the image has touched on how I feel.... and lately I question my abilities, but it isn't that- it is me.

cute..

like the color scheme somewhat. The subject is a bit stiff, but! maybe that was your approach, the focus has been on the balloon.
if you had titled this differently.... maybe I wouldn't have revolved the situation around the balloon.
The characters face is fine to an extension, she feels stiff, as she had been frozen with a smile. give her some flow, some movement, make her seem as she has weight and an uplifting feel.
other than that keep going! You have skill!

He isn't giving me insight on what is around him! I would like to see this again,

Aw, man--the pressue--! Photoshop Elements 6.0 with Wacom tablet. I guess he's scoping out the area, looking for some heads to asplode with his fancy-schmancy railgun. You're right, I always spend so much time on the character that his surrondings don't get much attention. Fruuu! Thanks for taking the time for such an awesome responce! I do not mind the face, that is your preference. I won't be a nazi about it.
The arm does look like it is a bit off, but what the hell you chose it to be like that right? the foot is fine in some way but the arch on top of it is too far! It literally has to be broken to do so... but you said your feet can do that, so okay.
The skulls were a nice touch, but I feel that they could of been interegrated into the hair a little bit better! Give it some sort of feeling that those friggin skulls are in her hair! The pose can work, just refine it, please keep making art, I would like to see an updated version of this in the future! Keep going!
